This Topic about configuring an AVTech DVR remote viewng via J2ME enabled handphone or PDA.
Applies to: AVC760, AVC761, AVC785, AVC785D, AVC787, AVC787D.
The AVTech series DVR system are able to remote viewing by PDA or even handphone. The configuration are simple, just you need to do is ensure that you was configured the remote viewing properly. If no, please process Configuration Remote Viewing Steps first.
Tips:
If the DVR system port is 80, the Handphone or PDA viewing might not work properly, try to change the port else of 80. (eg: 1000)
- Choose the GPRS/3G Software if you're using handphone.
- Choose the EagleEyes(For WinCE) if you're using PDA.
- Click on it to download the software.
- Install the software into your mobile device.
Step 3:
- Open the downloaded software.
- IP : your domain hostname (eg: someone.no-ip.info)
- Port : DVR System port number (eg: 1000)
- UserName : DVR System Username (default is "admin")
- PassWord : DVR Password (default is "admin")
- Push the "connect" key to connect.
