ADV DN Series DVR Card : Recover Recorded Data
ADV DN server windows has been formatted and unable loading the previous recorded data? Here's the steps to retrieve back the recorded data. (make sure the KDB partition is no format)
 
Step 1:
- Open "My Computer", "DN's Data Partition", "KDB"
- Copy the folder name as shown below.
 
Step 2:
- Click on "Start", "Run".
 
Step 3:
- Type "regedit" to enter registry editor.
 
Step 4:
- Select "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", "SOFTWARE", "dvr4".
 
Step 5:
- Right click, select "New", "String Value".
 
Step 6:
- Type in the name "SUID" into the entry.
 
Step 7:
- "Paste" the folder name into the Value data.
