D-Link Router : Firmware 3
This setting applies to D-Link 520B, 2542T router.
 

Step 1:
: Open Internet Explorer and type 192.168.1.1(default) into
  the address bar. (refer router quick guide manual)
: Fill in Username & Password.(default: admin, password admin)
: Click "OK" to login.

 
Step 2:
With this new firmware, we should create a internet connection first before we begin configure the port forwarding.
: Click "Quick Setup" on the left.
: Uncheck the "DSL Auto-connect " to enable manual configuration.
 

Step 3:
: Select "Advanced Setup".
: Click "NAT" > "Virtual Servers".
: Click on "Add".

: This function is same as Port Farwording, but it's only suitable for DVR Standalone Recorder.
» Dynamic DNS (DDNS)
: Since this new D-Link firmware, this router does not support No-IP.com service.
